How we prepare this extremely delicate cargo for shipment from the island of La Palma to Barcelona.
The service required covering the container of the telescope, sealing it from the outside with a protective film, specialised in protecting any type of material against humidity, corrosion or incidents that could happen when sending a load outdoors.
This film was used to cover the container, which was then heat-sealed. To improve the level of protection, it was covered with tarpaulins and nets to prevent any external damage to the protective film due to rubbing or knocks, ensuring that the cargo arrived at its destination (Barcelona) in perfect condition.
